Prepare Your Gift Certificate
Let’s first acknowledge that your printed gift certificate isn’t the easiest thing to work with, since paper is thin and flimsy. We recommend prepping your certificate before you get to wrapping. To make it sturdier and less likely to wrinkle or rip, simply adhere the paper to a backing. A plain piece of brown cardboard or poster board should do the trick. Frame the certificate in the middle, so that the edges of your backing create a border around the paper, and you’re ready to wrap!
For a Romantic Look
For gift wrap that has a charming, vintage look to it, search online for the sheet music to your loved one’s favourite holiday carol and print it off. Next, give your sheet music an aged feel by brewing some tea, waiting for it to cool, and then dipping the paper into the tea. Allow the paper to dry completely on a flat surface.
