What will be your opening hours?
Our opening hours will be from 9 am to 10 pm, rain or shine, every day of the week, year-round. We will be closed December 25th. If you have a massage or a body treatment, we recommend you arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment.
What is the thermal experience?
The thermal experience allows you to use our facilities for a full day. You can enjoy our dry and steam saunas, outdoor baths (hot, cold and temperate), exfoliation room, as well as many outdoor and indoor relaxation areas. We also have a restaurant with terrace. Please note that in order to maintain a relaxing environment and to preserve the quality of your experience, access to the nordic baths may be limited, which could result in a wait period.
What should I bring?
We provide a towel and a locker. You should bring your bathing suit and sandals. We would recommend you bring as well your bathrobe, or you can rent one for the day, and reusable bottle. Water fountains are available on site. Items such as bathing suit, sandals, reusable bottles, bathrobes can also be purchased at the front desk.
Is there a minimum age to enjoy your services?
The site is reserved to 16 years and over.
Do you have a silence policy?
Please note that we have a whispering policy on the site, except for our saunas and relaxation pavilions, where silence is mandatory.
Since your facilities are outdoors, what happens in rain or poor weather?
The thermal experience activity takes place year-round, rain or shine. Our facilities are designed so that you can enjoy your experience regardless of the weather. In case of a thunderstorm, the nordic baths may be closed.
If I want to order something at one of the restaurants on site, do I have to carry my wallet with me?
No, you have to pay your purchases with your electronic wristband, the only method of payment on our site.
we have a system allowing you upon your arrival to preauthorize an amount from your credit card to your electronic bracelet (the same one for your locker). It is not only convenient, but safe!
Among the many advantages of this payment method, here are the most important to share with customers:
- By pre loading/pre authorising you can be card/cash free the whole day onsite.
- You do not have to go to your locker and carry your wallet with you, as pre authorising is safe, convenient and secure.
- It’s just like gas stations, you set a limit and you get charged for ONLY what you use.
- This is the only method of payment at the restaurant.
- At any time, you can come back at reception and add money on your bracelet if you need to do so, you may have to line up again. However, to avoid this, we strongly recommend that you preauthorize enough during your initial check-in.
Can we eat on site?
We will have a restaurant open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. As the restaurant is an integral part of the overall relaxation experience, the restaurant is exclusively for spa customers. Please note that food cannot be brought into the spa.
Will you offer on site lodging?
We do not have on site lodging but Thermëa is pleased to be associated with hotel partners. If you wish to receive some recommendations, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.
Should reservations be made?
Please note that we will not take reservations for the thermal experience. For the massages and or a treatments, we recommend reserving two weeks ahead for best availability. You can reserve online or by calling one of our reservation agents. Your credit card number will be asked, only to confirm the reservation. You can enjoy a massage and or a treatment even if you do not wish to partake in the thermal experience.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel and/or reschedule a massage or body treatment without charge until 24 hours before your appointment. A $95 + tx cancellation fee will be applied if the cancellation is within 24 hours of the scheduled massage and or treatment. Please note that we do not take any cancellation or modification by email.
Is it necessary to get fully undressed to receive a massage?
Our therapist team works professionally, with the greatest respect for each individual. You may wish to know that a sheet covers you at all times to respect your privacy. Only the area being massaged is uncovered. It is more comfortable to receive a massage when no clothing is worn, but we respect the choice of our clients who prefer to keep clothes on.
Which services are refundable by my private insurance?
Since all of our massage therapists are accredited, they can issue receipts for insurance purposes. Please take note that we do not offer direct billing.
Can pregnant women enjoy the thermal experience?
The thermal baths and saunas are not recommended for pregnant women because sudden temperature changes can lead to complications. Please consult your doctor.
Can I receive care if I am under medication or suffering from certain health problems?
If you are taking medication or have particular health problems (such as cancer), therapeutic treatments are perhaps best avoided. A note from your doctor may be requested by your massage therapist. You must make your health condition known, in particular by providing accurate answers on the health sheet we ask all clients to fill out before their massage.The thermal experience activity may present risks for those suffering from angina, heart or respiratory problems, diabetes, hyper- or hypotension, especially when these conditions are viewed as serious and/or uncontrolled. In case of doubt as to your condition, ask for your doctor's opinion.
Do you have group rates?
To maintain a relaxing environment and to preserve the quality of the experience, we only accept small groups. We do offer multiple access passes at preferred rates. We invite you to contact us directly in order to assist you the best way possible.
Do you have a recognition program?
We are currently working on a recognition program. More details will be available in 2015.
Do you have a meeting & reception room?
We do not have a function room on site but Thermëa is pleased to be associated with local partners. If you wish to receive some recommendations, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.
How to keep my swimsuit in good condition
- Choose an inexpensive swimsuit for the spa.
- Wash your swimsuit in clear water after each use.
- Wash your swimsuit by hand in lukewarm water, using a gentle soap.
- Never put your swimsuit in the washer or dryer.
- Never dry your swimsuit in the sun.
- You shouldn?t leave your swimsuit rolled up in a plastic bag for more than a few hours. Take it out of the bag as soon as you get home.
- By following these tips, you will prevent salt, sand, chlorine and sunlight from prematurely ruining your swimsuit.
